Diano Marina Museum
The Museum keeps interesting collections of ancient archaeological PreRoman diggings, found during underwater searches in the Sea. Paleontological and historical sections are both worth seeing.
The surroundings
Diano Marina is surrounded by wonderful medieval villages and towns in the Dianese valley, which economy is mostly based on the growing of olive-trees and flowers. Here one can go for peaceful walks under the exotic trees and enjoy this beautiful nature.
San Bartolomeo al mare
This splendid town is like a long walk way between Diano Marina and Cervo. Here tourists will find a great number of modern hotels and residences as well as a beautiful sea promenade with small sandy beaches to walk on.
Cervo
This ancient sailor's village was built on a hill sloping down towards the sea. While walking along these medieval alleys you will find many small artisan shops with unique works of art. The village has a wonderful church - an important expression of the Ligurian Baroque Architecture - which is a must for the visitor. There is also an ancient castle, where you can visit the ethnographic museum of Western Liguria.
